Karrimor Alpiniste 45 Plus 10 BackpackThe Karrimor Alpiniste 45 Plus 10 Backpack has a rugged design, with a protective front print, splashguard zips and a mitt friendly grab handle. This rucksack also includes an extendable lid, a main toggle compartment and pockets on both sides offering additional storage.Hydration System CompatibleFformat back system - developed solely through our interactions with our test team the Fformat back system delivers an extremely stable and comfortable fit that is optimal for climbing or scrambling. The basis of the system is a malleable metal frame encapsulated by a cross linked EVA closed cell foam. This removable “Fformat” is easily manipulated to customise the fit of the pack, and also to be used as a sit mat or in emergencies (many people have used Fformats as splints). Using raised scapula pads ensures good support and transfer of load energy to the shoulder area and also safeguards overheating of the back. The wrap over harness fits the shoulders and spreads the weight evenly across the chest area by utilising a “naturally curved” sewing construction.
